In the year 2000, a child organisation within our Kudumbayogam , The Edamanakalathy Youth Movement, was founded with the aim of involving the youth in the activities of the Kudumbayogam directly and to make use of the creativity and vigour of the youth to the benefit of all.
Fr.Jose Pulparambil (Romy) was chosen as the Youth Movement’s patron. Initially the youth movement had a central committee and various zonal committees, who were elected biannually. The Committee was expanded in the year 2014 to facilitate new positions. The Youth Movement was fundemental in various activities of the family, like the Edamanakalathy Family Care
Edamanakalathy Family Care
The Edamanakalathy Family Care is a newly devised project by the Edamanakalathy Youth Movement under the guidance of Fr.Jose Pulparamabil (Romy) and was launched on May 25 . Based upon the virtues of christian teaching “Give, and it will be given to you. ” and our ancestral values of brotherhood the Youth Movement started this project which collects donations and prayers from generous donors from our family and donations received thus will be used for helping the less fortunate members of our family. The Family Care received tremendous support from the family members since it’s inception and has successfully distributed funds to persons in dire need.
